Measurable specifications including precious metals, gemstone measurements and grades, a photo, and ownership information are also documented.

Obtaining an appraisal is recommended for insurance purposes including retail replacement due to loss, theft or damage, probate or estate settlement.

Which Jewellery Items Should Be Appraised?

Appraisals can be issued for plenty more pieces beyond a diamond engagement ring. We recommend many others like precious gemstone rings: ruby, emerald, sapphires set in white or yellow gold settings.
